Track and field: West Coast Relays results from Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis

Clovis North senior McKay Madsen won the West Coast Relays boys discus with a throw of 200 feet, 3 inches at Buchanan High on April 5, 2025. Madsen also won the shot put with a throw of 61 feet.

The West Coast Relays wrapped up Saturday at Buchanan High’s Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Clovis North’s McKay Madsen was a double winner in the discus and shot put in the gold division. He won the state championships in the events last season.

Another double winner came from Indiana Davis of Clovis East, winning the high jump and triple jump, also in the gold division.

The Clovis North’s 1600 (Hayden Craft, Emerson Parks, Emma O’Neil, Demi Villalobos) and 3200 relay (Sabella Sanchez, Keira Quigley, Giselle Renney, Demi Villalobos) teams took first in the gold division.
