Tylee Erickson of Immanuel wins The Fresno Bee girls poll for April 17-22
Tylee Erickson of Immanuel softball is voted The Fresno Bee Girls Athlete of the Week for April 17-22.
Erickson had 5,835 votes (50%). She finished ahead of teammate Leah Thomas, who had 4,757 votes (41%).
The 20 high school athletes nominated came from softball and track and field.
Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. May 1.
Past winners are Anisa Torres of Caruthers softball, Chloe Solis of Clovis East softball, Mia Castillo of Orange Cove softball, Star Roman-Elizondo of Orange Cove softball, Gizelle Aguirre of Caruthers softball, Daisy Regalado of Mt. Whitney softball, Isabella Marie Gonzales of Clovis East wrestling, Morgan O’Neal of Buchanan soccer, Hannah Peters of Clovis North soccer, Abigail Ochoa of Washington Union soccer, Morgan Trigueiro of Caruthers basketball (three times), Jaelyn Bourdeau of Coalinga basketball, Alexis Holland of Washington Union basketball, Taryn Brice of Clovis West soccer and Taylor Rombaoa of Clovis East basketball.
