High schools: Teams debut in The Fresno Bee baseball and softball rankings
Bullard remains The Bee’s top-ranked high school baseball team after picking up two wins last week against Garza to improve to 16-3.
Nos. 1-4 remain the same from last week, with Kingsburg moving up one spot to No. 5 after defeating No. 14 Kerman twice.
El Diamante moves up two spots to No. 7 after two wins against Golden West. The Miners, though, lost to No. 2 Redwood.
There were more changes from No. 10 and beyond, including Clovis East entering the rankings after solid wins over Clovis West.
In softball, Clovis North remains No. 1 after wins over No. 2 Clovis and No. 3 Central. No shame in those losses, though; the Cougars and Grizzlies kept their places in the rankings after picking up victories during the week against other teams.
Immanuel debuts in the softball rankings at No. 22 after three wins.
