Fresno-area preps: Basketball championships returning to familiar site; soccer Top 10s
For the first time since 2020, the Central Section high school basketball championships will be held at Selland Arena.
The section championships have been held at the downtown arena for many years, but COVID forced the cancellation of the 2021 championships there. In 2022, Selland Arena didn’t host because of issues within the arena.
Instead, the section championships were held at the schools of the top remaining seed.
The road to Selland Arena begins Feb. 14 with the section championships taking place Feb. 24-25.
