Loukas Jones of Clovis North basketball wins the boys Athlete of the Week poll for Jan. 2-7

The Fresno Bee Boys Athlete of the Week poll winner for Jan. 2-7 is Loukas Jones of Clovis North basketball.

He won the poll with 7,436 votes (40%), finishing ahead of Joseph Toscano of Buchanan wrestling who had 5,184 votes (28%).

Rocklin Zinkin of Buchanan wrestling was third with 4,588 votes (25%). James Brown of McLane basketball had 1,131 votes (25%).

The 14 high school athletes nominated came from basketball, soccer and wrestling.

Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Jan. 16.

Past winners were Jordan Espinoza of Clovis North basketball, Jaylen Bryant of Clovis North basketball and Mihran Semerdzhyan of Clovis North soccer.
