High school football playoffs in the Central Section: Who are the top seeds and matchups?

The Central Section high school football playoffs are set with the section office releasing the pairings Saturday.

In Division I, No. 1 Clovis West, No. 2 Buchanan, No. 3 Liberty-Bakersfield and No. 4 San Joaquin Memorial will receive byes in the 12-team bracket.

Teams receiving the top seed in other divisions are Central Valley Christian (D-II), Mission Prep (D-III), Liberty-Madera Ranchos (D-IV), Bishop Union (D-V), Hanford West (D-VI) and Fresno Christian (8-man).

The playoffs begin Nov. 4 and continue Nov. 10 (changed from Friday that week because of Veterans Day), Nov. 18 and Nov. 25. All games are at 7 p.m.

Division I
