Morgan Wilson of Clovis North volleyball is the winner of The Bee’s prep for Oct. 10-15

Morgan Wilson picked up the most votes to win The Fresno Bee’s Athlete of the Week poll for Oct. 10-15.

Wilson had 21,201 votes with an 86 percentage. It was good enough over Kylie Wancewicz of Clovis West volleyball who received 3,024 votes (12%).

Fourteen Fresno-area high school athletes were nominated from cross country, water polo and girls volleyball.

Previous winners were Mayezie Loggins of Clovis West water polo, Jazlynn Vargas of Madera South volleyball, Marissa Sanchez of Kerman volleyball, Evan Torres of Parlier cross country, Stephanie Sanchez of Fowler volleyball, Jordyn Kwalwasser of Clovis East volleyball, Jazzy Vargas of Madera South volleyball and Nailea Fields of Caruthers volleyball.

Coaches may nominate an athlete for next week’s prep poll by email to agalaviz@fresnobee.com.
