The Bee’s Top 25 high school football rankings: Three new teams enter this week’s poll
Porterville, Santa Ynez and Paso Robles enter The Fresno Bee’s rankings for Week 7 after picking up wins on Friday.
Garces, Kerman and Tulare Western were bounced after losses.
Porterville checks in at No. 23, followed by Santa Ynez and Paso Robles.
Many Central Section teams had a bye in Week 6, but a full slate of games will happen this week, including openers in the Tri-River Athletic Conference and County/Metro Athletic Conference.
Big games include No. 1 Buchanan facing No. 2 Clovis West at Lamonica Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Friday and No. 7 Central at No. 9 Clovis at 7 p.m. Thursday.
