Erik Cervantes of Madera South wins The Fresno Bee high school football Player of the Week for Week 6.

He received 11,351 votes (62%).

Cervantes finished ahead of Drake Hennagan of Dos Palos who had 6,596 votes (36%).

Cervantes had a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown, helping the Stallions to a 30-6 victory over Sanger West.

Seventeen players were nominated.

Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

Previous winners are Anthony Fernandez of Firebaugh (Week 5), Adam Delgado of Kerman (Week 4), Noah Tasi of Coalinga (Week 3), Andrew Chavez of Clovis North (Week 2) and Jacob Rangel of San Joaquin Memorial (Week 1).
