Bee’s Best: Jazzy Vargas of Madera South wins The Bee’s Athlete of the Week for Aug. 15-20
Jazzy Vargas of Madera South volleyball won The Bee’s Athlete of the Week for Aug. 15-20 after receiving 2,168 votes (64%).
Stephanie Sanchez of Fowler volleyball is second with 636 votes (19%).
Summer Foshee of Fresno Christian tennis came in third with 564 votes (17%).
Eleven high school players were nominated in our first poll of the fall season.
Voting ended at 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
