Bee’s Best: Devon Daniel of Kerman is voted the best prep baseball pitcher in the Fresno area

Kerman High’s Devon Daniel is the voters choice for the best pitcher in the Fresno-area.

Daniel finished with 49,020 votes (35%) to finish ahead of Washington Union’s Trey Morris (37,000, 26%).

Triston Gray of Madera South was third (24,544, 18%).

Many high school baseball pitchers in the Fresno area have put up big-time performances, from no-hitters to double-digit strikeouts.

Voting ended May 15.
