Bee’s Best: Clovis North’s Ryan Maddox voted the best prep softball pitcher in the Fresno area

Ryan Maddox of Clovis North is the best high school softball pitcher by Fresno Bee readers.

The Broncos’ ace picked up 75,742 votes (26%) to finish on top. Coming in second is Alexis Wright of Tulare Western who received 56,610 votes (20%).

Kaia Galaviz of San Joaquin Memorial was third (41,576, 14%).

The Fresno area has an abundance of outstanding high school softball pitchers, each week filled with reports of no-hitters and double-digit strikeouts.

Voting ended May 15.
