Bee’s Best: Adam Delgado is The Bee’s Boys Athlete of the Week winner for Feb. 28-March 5

Adam Delgado of Kerman High baseball is the winner of The Fresno Bee’s Boys Athlete of the Week poll for Feb. 28-March 5.

He won the poll after receiving 38,865 votes (53%) to finish ahead of runner-up Chris Clement of Hanford baseball who tallied 21,861 votes (30%).

Finishing third was Paul Marshall of Fresno baseball. He picked up 7,467 votes (10%).

The nominees were from basketball, baseball and track and field.

The poll closed at midnight Sunday.

Recent winners include: Orion Tomlinson of Fresno Christian basketball, Camden Thompson of Clovis East basketball, Landon Almeida of Caruthers basketball, Ismael Gonzalez of Riverdale soccer, Beunju Moon of Lemoore basketball, Luke Karle of Sanger basketball and Jackson Young of Clovis West basketball.
