Central soccer picks up key TRAC victory with section playoffs looming

It is all even in Tri-River Athletic Conference boys soccer.

Kaylob Walker scored a goal in the second half, lifting Central High to a 1-0 victory over Clovis North in a key TRAC match on Tuesday.

The win means Central ties Clovis North atop the TRAC standings at 7-1-1 with one match remaining.

In the regular-season finale on Thursday, the Grizzlies will visit Clovis East and the Broncos travel to Buchanan.

The Central Section playoffs will start Feb. 11.

Central is the section’s defending Division I champion.
