Fresno State adds transfer from Arizona State and a commitment from tight end from NorCal
Fresno State landed two more football players under first-year head coach Matt Entz.
Linebacker K’Von Thunderbird joins the Bulldogs after a short stint with Arizona State.
This past season, he played in nine games and had four total tackles with one tackle for loss and a sack.
The redshirt freshman is listed at 6 feet and redshirted as a true freshman last season.
In his Arizona State bio, it was listed that he is a “lightning quick linebacker prospect with unique physical skills for a linebacker.”
The Sun Devils added that his size and speed make “him a tough matchup as a blitzer going against opposing offensive lineman.”
Thunderbird was rated a three-star by 247Sports.
Tight end Gavin Correia also committed to Fresno State.
He played football for American River College in the Sacramento area.
In 2024, he played in nine games and had 28 receptions for 306 yards and two touchdowns.
Correia, a freshman, is listed at 6-4 and 215 pounds.
Joining Correia as commits are tight end Sebastian Boydell (Corona Del Mar), running back Julius Gillick (Edison-Huntington Beach) and athlete Elliott Noble (Tennyson).
Joining Thunderbird as transfers include safety Ethan Tierney, running back Rayshon Luke, edge rusher Finn Claypool, tackle Kyson Van Vugt, linebacker Jadon Pearson, offensive lineman Gino Quinones and safety Simeon Harris.
