Fresno State introduced Jeff Tedford as its new football coach Wednesday, a second go-round for the Bulldogs’ former quarterback, assistant coach, coordinator and head coach.

Watch a replay of the press conference here:

Tedford returns after stepping away from the position at the end of the 2019 season due to heart-related health issues, but into a much better spot than when first hired in November 2016.

The Bulldogs then were coming off a 1-11 season, the third of three losing seasons in a row. Tedford turned it around as quickly as flipping a light switch. Fresno State was 10-4 in his first season and 12-2 with a Mountain West Conference championship in his second, becoming the first team in history to go from double-digit losses one season to double-digit wins in the next two.
