He told the youth in a packed gym to go to college.

Green is the all-time leading scorer for SJM, having surpassed the previous record of 2,288 points held by Roscoe Pondexter. He also led the Panthers to back-to-back Central Section titles.

Green joins Brook and Robin Lopez, and Quincy Pondexter to have their jerseys retired at SJM.
