How to cut insurance premiums
Kudos to Jess King and Lisa Libby, regarding health insurance with letters appearing on March 18. I like lisa acronym for the Republican Insurance Plan, R.I.P. Jess addresses the exorbitant profits received by these government-sanctioned behemoths.
Only two countries allow direct advertising of prescription drugs to its citizens. How much would medications be without enduring a perpetual barrage of these insidious ads on the nightly news? Not to mention the fact that the news itself is sculpted to influence public opinion.
Concerning auto insurance: With all the so-called smart devices, GPS, trackable phones, LoJack and OnStar, it’s known whether a vehicle is moving or stationary. Why should I have to pay insurance on a vehicle that I’m not driving at certain times? How about Smart Insurance? I would think a smart phone app would serve this function quite nicely. At times when the vehicle just sits in the driveway, why should I pay liability insurance on it?
And what about that lizard from down under? How much would costs diminish if we didn’t have to suffer through an unending assault on our senses from that little green reptile?
Just a thought.
