Scarber disgraced the badge

Although now retired, I was a police officer in the Bay Area for most of my adult life. I was dedicated to my job and responsibilities through out my law-enforcement career.

Now this person, Kyle Scarber, I won’t even call him an “ex-cop,” as he was a disgrace to the uniform, is destroying the very trust that most cops seek to obtain through good and “honest” police work (Bee article March 10).

This guy is a joke. He wants a pension modification? Give me a break. This guy is just as bad as that son he so desperately wanted to protect from the very laws he swore to uphold. He should be denied any “pension boosts.” He doesn’t deserve anything.
