Madera sales tax won’t hurt anyone

I have been reading all the handwringing about Measure L.

I lived in a city that raised sales tax 1 percent for a new police station. No stores went out of business, the mall was still packed. At the end of day, we had a new police station and the tax hike was sunset three years early.
