Fresno shrouded in fog. Here’s how long weather service expects it to last

A dense fog bank covered roadways in the central San Joaquin Valley on Monday morning, prompting officials at the National Weather Service to issue a traffic advisory cautioning drivers to slow down.

The fog was expected to cover roadways until about 11 a.m. Highways impacted by the conditions included 99, 41, 43, 180, 152 and 198.

Local Fresno roads were also fog-shrouded. Fresno police were on the scene of a two-car collision at North Fresno Street and East Clinton Avenue, where a driver failed to yield the right-of-way while making a left turn. Airbags deployed on the vehicles, but injuries were reported to be minor.
