One dead, four arrested in Visalia stabbing
One person died and two others were injured in a stabbing Tuesday in Visalia, police reported. Four people were arrested in connection with the incident.
The victim has been identified as Jerimiah Carrisalez, 17, of Visalia.
Officers went to the 2800 block of West Ashland Avenue about 2:30 p.m. and found three injured men. Police said another group came to a home and a confrontation followed that appears to be gang-related.
One victim died at a hospital. A second sustained multiple wounds and is in stable condition. A third sustained superficial injuries.
About an hour later, officers arrested Emmanuel Meza, 20; Ruben Gonzalez, 20; and Ebony Garcia, 28, in the 3300 block of South Woodland Street. Josh Ochoa, 23, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of South Chatham Court. All face charges of homicide and attempted homicide.
