Two walking in north Fresno neighborhood report being shot at, police say
Officers on Tuesday morning investigated a reported shooting in a north Fresno neighborhood off Herndon Avenue.
Fresno police spokesperson Lt. Larry Bowlan said officers responded to a call of shots being fired near San Pablo and Herndon avenues around 6:30 a.m.
Two people walking in the neighborhood said they believed they were being shot at, Bowlan said.
No injuries were reported, and officers had not found any residences or vehicles that were struck.
Bowlan said police are investigating to see if the people, reportedly men, were actually firing at the two people walking.
Officers are canvassing the area for witnesses and security footage.
