After viral Giants game brawl, three from Fresno County banned from S.F. stadium
Seven people were involved in a viral brawl that recently broke out at a San Francisco Giants game, and three Fresno County residents were among those taken into custody.
The situation unfolded around 9:45 p.m. Thursday at Oracle Park, a spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department said.
An investigation into the brawl, which circulated on social media, revealed it initially began as a verbal altercation before turning physical, police said.
Police detained seven people — four of whom were ultimately arrested:
- Major Norton, 29, of Suisun City.
- Jaylynn Del Toro, 21, of Fresno.
- Elijah Ortega-Garcia, 23, of Selma.
- Giselle Lopez, 26, of Vallejo.
All four were arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace and public intoxication. Norton was also recommended to be charged with assault likely to produce great bodily injury.
In addition to the four arrests, three others were detained and could be charged with disturbing the peace including a 22-year-old woman from Fresno.
A spokesperson for the Giants told the San Francisco Chronicle that everyone involved in the fight will be banned from Oracle Park.
