Multiple people were shot in a Fresno County mobile home park on Sunday.
Sheriff’s spokesperson Tony Botti said deputies responded to shots fired at the Flamingo Mobile Home Park at 6:45 a.m. outside the mobile homes 2581 E. Central Ave., near Maple Avenue.
Deputies arrived and found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds. All the victims were taken to a Fresno hospital, and their conditions are unknown, Botti said.
Deputies weren’t specific when asked how many were shot.
“The disturbance and the shooting appeared to happen outside,” Botti said. “Nobody inside the mobile homes was injured, struck by gunfire.”
Botti said detectives will try to figure out if any of the victims lived at the property or had friends living there.
Detectives will remain on the scene for most of the day to interview witnesses and canvass for surveillance cameras.
It is unknown if the shooting was gang-related, Botti said. The ages of the victims are also unknown.
No suspect description was provided.
