A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Christmas in Fresno County.

The crash happened just after 12:30 a.m. Thursday on Henderson Avenue, between Floral and Rose avenues.

The California Highway Patrol said a Ford sedan was going north on Henderson, south of Floral and went over standing water that caused the driver to lose control.

The vehicle left the roadway, entered an orchard and hit a tree, CHP said. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead, CHP said.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office on Monday identified the man as Victor Flores, 30, of Fresno.
