Man stabbed multiple times in Fresno after fight, police say. He was with his mom

A man in his 30s is in the hospital after he was stabbed Monday in Fresno.

Police said the victim and his mother were sleeping in their vehicle at 5:15 a.m. in the parking lot at First and Gettysburg when the suspect, who is known to them, pushed the vehicle.

The man and the suspect got into an argument before fighting. Police said the suspect allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed him three times.

The victim was rushed to two hospitals and is listed in critical condition, police said.
