Fight turns violent as man is stabbed by known person at Fresno apartment, police say

Police are investigating a stabbing that took place Sunday night at a Fresno apartment.

The stabbing happened at 12:30 a.m. at Shaw and Valentine avenues, at the Hometown Studio, police said.

The victim was stabbed in his torso and has a laceration to his face. He was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Police said the victim and suspect knew each other when they got into a fight before the suspect allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed him.

The suspect ran on foot from the location, police. Police didn’t reveal the suspect description.
