3 Fresno High students arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on child, authorities say

Three Fresno High students were arrested Thursday on suspicion of committing sexual assault against a child.

Authorities said a school resource officer was notified that students were sharing an explicit video showing four boys allegedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old.

Detectives identified the 14-year-old suspects and they were arrested at Fresno High. The fourth suspect moved to Mexico, authorities said.

School administrators immediately notified the parents/guardians of the involved suspects.

The three teens were booked into juvenile hall and are facing multiple felony charges, including lewd or lascivious act with a child under the age of 14, lewd or lascivious act with force or fear, oral copulation with a child under 14 and possession of child pornography.

The investigation is ongoing.
