Family disturbance turns violent as man is stabbed multiple times, Fresno police say
A man was stabbed multiple times Monday morning in Fresno.
Officers responded to the stabbing at 4:45 a.m. in the 3300 block of North Pleasant Avenue, near Shields and Hughes avenues, after a report of a family disturbance.
The disturbance turned into a stabbing, police said. Fresno Police Lt. Bill Dooley said the victim, who is in his late 30s to early 40s, was stabbed four times in the upper body.
The man was taken to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition.
The suspect description is unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
