Teen allegedly stabs man during attempted robbery in Fresno, police say. He was arrested

A man was allegedly stabbed by a juvenile Friday night in Fresno.

According to Fresno police Lt. Michael Gray III, a 15-year-old was attempting to rob a man around 9:45 p.m. at Fig Garden Drive and Gates Avenue.

The victim had no property taken but the teenager allegedly stabbed the man, Gray said.

The man had an injury to his right side and right hand. He was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Officers were able to locate the possible suspect and arrested the 15-year-old and was booked at juvenile hall.
