Detectives investigating deadly shooting at Fresno home. Police say an arrest was made

An homicide investigation is underway Sunday morning after a man was shot and killed.

Officers responded at 1 a.m. to Pryor Drive and Richelle Avenue of a shooting victim, Fresno Police Lt. Robert Dewey said.

Officers arrived and found a man who was suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motive to the shooting is under investigation, Dewey said. He added that the victim and the alleged shooter knew each other.

The suspect was taken into custody, Dewey said.

Officers are investigating witnesses that were at the home visiting.
