A Clovis High counselor is arrested by police for allegedly having sex with a minor

A Clovis High employee was arrested Thursday for allegedly having sexual relations with a minor, police said.

Clovis police arrested 32-year-old Estevan Reyes on several counts of unlawful intercourse and oral copulation with a minor.

Reyes was booked into Fresno County Jail at 4 p.m. Thursday. The bail amount had not yet been listed.

Police said Reyes worked for Clovis Unified School District as a counselor since May 2016 and at Clovis High since July 2022.

Reyes was placed on leave. Police said detectives are working with Clovis Unified to investigate the incidents with the victim.
