Husband arrested on suspicion of murdering wife in Fresno County town, sheriff says

A Huron man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife Saturday morning.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday afternoon said 33-year-old Rafael Reynosa was booked into Fresno County Jail on suspicion of murder. His bail is $1 million.

The woman, identified as 35-year-old Bianca Reynosa, was found stabbed to death in the rural town of Huron in what is believed to be a case of domestic violence, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The death happened Saturday morning, with Huron police responding to a report that someone had been stabbed at a home on Palmer Avenue.

Detectives investigated the fatal stabbing and identified Rafael Reynosa as the suspect. He had been involved in a domestic dispute with his wife, deputies said.

Rafael Reynosa was taken to the hospital with minor stab wound injuries after he tried to kill himself, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Anyone with more information is asked to call detective Richard Antunez at 559-600-8221 or can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 559-498-7867, www.valleycrimestoppers.org.
