Cyber tip leads to arrest of 86-year-old Fresno man on child pornography charges

An 86-year-old Fresno man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of child pornography.

Fred Lusk Jr. was taken into custody for allegedly having numerous pornographic images of children under the age of 10, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

Acting on a tip, the Central Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force on Wednesday served a search warrant at a house in the 5600 block of North Nantucket Avenue in Fresno.

Lusk was booked into the Fresno County jail on a felony charge of possession of child pornography.

His bail was set at $20,000 and he was later released after posting bond.

Detectives ask that anyone who has information about illegal sexual material being shared online to make a report by contacting the sheriff’s office at 559-600-3111, Valley Crime Stoppers at 559-498-7867 or www.valleycrimestoppers.org or submitting a tip at www.missingkids.com/home.
