A Hoover High student brought a replica handgun to school. He went to juvenile hall
A 14-year-old Hoover High School student was arrested and booked into Fresno County Juvenile Hall on Thursday after bringing an air soft pistol to school, Fresno police reported.
Another student saw the replica gun in the boy’s waistband while he bragged to others about having a weapon. The student contacted their parent, who contacted Fresno police around 10:30 a.m.
The school resource officer immediately responded and found the suspect as he left the classroom. The suspect was arrested.
Carrying such pistol on a school campus is a felony in California.
