Kings County man arrested on suspicion of soliciting minor for sex, nude photos

Police in Hanford have arrested a 39-year old man on suspicion of soliciting a minor for nude photos and sex.

Christopher James Rios was taken into custody Thursday after a student reported the alleged incident to a resource officer at her school. The student was at Earl F. Johnson Park on Wednesday when a man solicited her for sexual acts and nude photos, police said.

Officers were able to identify Rios from a description student gave of the man and his vehicle.

Rios was booked into Kings County Jail and charged with two counts of contacting a minor with the intent to commit a felony. His bail was set at $50,000 police said.
