Second victim dies from injuries in attack at Corcoran Substance Abuse Treatment Facility
A second inmate has died from an attack last week at California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison, Corcoran.
Graham De Luis-Conti was pronounced dead Sunday, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
The 62-year-old had been taking to an area hospital following the attack that left him with multiple head wounds.
A second inmate who was attacked last week, David Bobb, died en route to the hospital.
Both men were serving life sentences for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14 years old.
Officials say a third inmate, identified as 41-year-old Jonathan Watson, attacked both men with a weapon. The deaths are being investigated as homicides.
Watson has been at the prison since 2009 serving a life sentence for first-degree murder and intentionally discharging a firearm causing great bodily injury or death, according to a CDCR release.
