Woman who suffered ‘questionable’ death in dry canal identified
The Fresno County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy Tuesday on the body of a woman found in a canal Sunday, a death officials are calling “questionable.”
The woman, identified Tuesday by the coroner’s office as 48-year-old Debora Deaver of Fresno, was found near Jensen and Brawley avenues in a dry canal.
Tony Botti, Fresno County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, said authorities have not determined a cause of death pending results of toxicology tests.
