Woman killed in hit-and-run at Chestnut/Belmont intersection in Fresno identified
A woman killed at a busy Fresno intersection last week was identified Monday.
The Fresno County Coroner’s Office in an update identified the victim as Precious Williams, 40, of Fresno.
Williams was struck by a vehicle at Belmont and Chestnut avenues around 10:30 p.m. Friday. The driver fled.
Responding officers said Williams sustained major injuries to her head and upper torso.
Williams died at a nearby hospital.
