Clovis jewelry store robbed by four suspects in under two minutes, police say
Authorities are searching for four masked individuals who robbed a Clovis jewelry store in under two minutes.
Police responded to reports of a robbery in progress around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at a Kay Jewelers near Herndon and Sunnyside avenues.
Surveillance footage released Thursday shows two masked suspects smashing glass cases as two others collected pieces of jewelry.
Police say the suspects left in a silver sedan within two minutes of entering the store. The car was abandoned in a nearby neighborhood and wsa searched by police for evidence.
Police are investigating whether this robbery is connected to others throughout the state.
No injuries were reported, and the store is doing an inventory to determine how much merchandise was stolen.
