A man was killed in a solo-vehicle crash Saturday morning outside of Hanford on rural roads in Kings County, California Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 10:57 a.m. Saturday in the area of Grangeville Boulevard east of 4th Avenue where emergency medical service and CHP officers responded to the scene.
CHP says the driver of a black 2013 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide motorcycle was traveling east on Grangeville Boulevard, east of 4th Avenue and for unknown reasons, the driver made a hard braking application.
The motorcycle overturned ejecting the rider who sustained fatal injuries, CHP said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel. The identity or age of the man killed has not been released as of Tuesday.
It’s unknown whether alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
