The Walmart in north Clovis at Herndon and Clovis avenues was evacuated Friday following a bomb threat.

According to Clovis Police spokesperson Ty Wood, Walmart received a call reporting the threat at 11:08 a.m.

Officers responded and evacuated the store while the investigation was underway.

Officers searched the store and no device was located, Wood said. The store re-opened at 12:10 p.m.

It’s the second bomb threat at an area Walmart this month. On Dec. 2, the Walmart in Selma about 15 miles south of Fresno also received a threat, but there was no credible threat.
