A Clovis man was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Fresno County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 2:35 p.m. at the intersection of DeWolf and South avenues.

CHP spokesperson Mike Salas said a 24-year-old man was driving a Subaru north on DeWolf and ran a stop sign at South. He then collided with a Ford being driven by a 55-year-old man from Parlier who was eastbound on South, which does not have a stop sign.

The driver of the Subaru was killed. The Ford driver had moderate injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts; alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the collision, Salas said.

The incident is under investigation.
