Early-bird Costco Wholesale shoppers may soon need to adjust their schedules, because the big-box retail chain announced new hours set to begin June 30.

Customers with executive status — Costco’s highest level of membership — will receive exclusive time inside all U.S. stores starting at 9 a.m. The store will open to other customers at 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. the rest of the week.

Costco announced the changes on Instagram earlier this month. After some commenters said their locations already open at 9 a.m., Costco responded that the revised hours for executive members would also apply at those stores starting June 30.

Additional areas of the store, like the food court and pharmacy, will also operate under these revised hours.

When do Costco stores currently open in the San Joaquin Valley?

Costco currently opens at 9 a.m. at the following locations, according to the company’s website:

  • 2015 Claribel Rd., Riverbank

  • 3801 Pelandale Ave., Modesto

  • 2955 N. Tegner Rd., Turlock

  • 1445 R St., Merced

  • 7100 N. Abby St., Fresno

  • 4500 W. Shaw Ave., Fresno

  • 2270 Clovis Ave., Clovis

  • 1405 W. Cameron Ave., Visalia

Since the revised hours apply at all U.S. stores, only executive members will be able to shop immediately at 9 a.m. starting June 30.

Costco currently opens at 10 a.m. at the following location:

  • 2395 E. Lacey Blvd., Hanford

The store will open at 9 a.m. for executive members starting June 30.

Executive members pay $130 annually, double the $65 cost of standard Gold Star memberships. Executive members currently receive exclusive services and an annual 2% reward on most purchases.
