Pedestrian struck and killed by Amtrak going northbound, police say

A pedestrian was killed by a train Friday morning in Fresno.

Police said the collision took place at 10:45 a.m. at Herndon and Constance avenues.

Police said an Amtrak was going northbound when it struck the pedestrian.

The man was pronounced dead.
