A woman is in the hospital Friday after she collided into a home.

Officers arrived just before 1:30 a.m. to the 1800 block of Fresno Street regarding a vehicle versus a residence and found the driver pinned in. Fire crews arrived and extricated the woman from the vehicle and she was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.

The woman, thought to be in her 20s, was listed in critical condition, Fresno Police Sgt. Diana Trueba Vega said.

The investigation is ongoing to see what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, Vega said. Alcohol or drugs are not suspected.

A power pole was also struck, and PG&E crews were at the site Friday morning to make repairs. At least 195 customers were affected by the outage.
