Heart-shaped pizza? Pink hummus? These Fresno restaurants have Valentine’s Day meals, deals
Nothing says “true love” like a delicious meal.
From a heart-shaped pizza and pink hummus to a Valentine’s Day-themed box of tacos, Fresno-area restaurants are serving up lots of options for the food lovers in your life.
Valentine’s Day deals are available through Thursday, Feb. 14.
Here are just a few of the local goodies in store in 2025:
Fresno Mexican restaurant sells Valentine’s Day tacos
El Premio Mayor, 3247 East McKinley Ave. in Fresno, will celebrate Valentine’s Day by serving up “Valentacos” — tacos in a heart-shaped box — in two sizes.
The “Taquero Mucho” box, which costs $17.99, comes with four tacos.
The Mexican restaurant is also offering a “Amor Grande” box that comes with eight tacos for $27.99.
Choose from asada, adobada, pollo tacos or chile verde, or upgrade to lengua, tripa or carnitas for a dollar more.
Each box comes with a tattoo-inspired sticker designed by a Fresno artist Roeski Doeski co-founder of @hellafresno
Pizzerias serve up heart-shaped pizzas
Me-n-Ed’s Pizzeria is selling large heart-shaped pepperoni pizzas at Fresno-area locations for $19.99 a piece. Orders can be placed through Thursday, Feb 16.
The Fresno-based chain isn’t the only pizza restaurant offering Valentine’s Day-themed pies.
The Curry Pizza Company, which has multiple locations in Fresno, started serving up heart-shaped versions of its pizzas on Feb 1.
That includes the popular tandoori chicken masala pizza, which features tandoori chicken, died tomatoes, bell peppers, cheese and white sauce.
Roundtable Pizza is also offering some sweet Valentine deals. Feb. 14, through Feb. 17, guests can earn a sweet 14 percent off any L or XL Pizza, including heart-shaped pizzas, with code RTP125 according to the restaurant.
“For fans feeling the love all month-long, they can order and personalize a heart-shaped pizza in a size L or XL—no strings attached!” the pizzeria wrote in an email to the Bee.
Food trucks hold Valentine’s Day events
Fresno Street Eats is holding a food truck gathering to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The event will take place at Tioga-Sequoia Beer Garden, 745 Fulton St. in Fresno, from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14.
A handful of local vendors will offer heart-shaped taco boxes, pizza, churros, corndogs and mini pancakes, Fresno Street Eats said on its social media pages.
“At Tioga-Sequoia Beer Garden, we’ll have beer, music from Teezzy Radio ready for the dance floor, shopping vendors and more,” the food truck business said.
Local restaurant, brewery offer Valentine’s Day meals
The Standard Restaurant & Lounge, 9455 North Fort Washington Road in Fresno, is serving a three-course prix fixe dinner on Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb 15.
Diners can start with Caesar salad or an arugula salad strawberries, walnuts and blue cheese.
For the second course, choose from an 8-ounce prime filet with Cajun shrimp; glazed salmon; chicken Parmesan or rigatoni pasta in a vodka cream sauce with wild mushrooms. All entrees are served with sautéed broccolini and a choice of mushroom risotto or roasted fingerling potatoes.
Entree prices range from $55 and go up to $95 price includes choice of salad and dessert.
For dessert, there’s bread pudding with vanilla brandy sauce or Belgian chocolate mousse cake.
Sequoia Brewing Co., 777 East Olive Ave. in Fresno, is offering a special menu on Feb. 14 for Valentine’s Day.
In addition to beef medallions with chimichurri sauce for $18, the brewery is serving up linguini pasta with mussels, clams and shrimp for $26 and creme brulee cheesecake for $12.
Sequoia Brewing will also have live music at 8 p.m. on Feb. 14.
Mediterranean restaurant has pink hummus, heart-shaped falafel
Hummus Republic, which has two locations in Fresno, has heart-shaped falafel and pink hummus naturally colored with beets in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
A side of hummus costs $6, or $8 with pita chips and hummus. The falafel bowl is $14.
The Mediterranean restaurant is also serving pink dragonfruit lemonade for $3.50
Heart-shaped crackers and pink doughnuts
Valley Lavosh, 502 M St. in Fresno, is offering 4.5-ounce boxes of heart-shaped crackers for $22.13 eacc in plain and cinnamon flavors.
You can buy them directly from the bakery or at Save Mart locations.
City Donuts II, 1180 North Chestnut Ave. in Fresno, is selling heart-shaped heart-shaped donuts with red and pink icing on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
The doughnuts cost $3.75 each, or $35 for 12.
