Woman in her 60s found dead in Fresno home, police investigating suspicious death

The Fresno Police Department is investigating a suspicious death Monday night.
Officers responded to a home, located in the 4000 block of E. Cortland Avenue to check the welfare of a woman.
Officers entered the home and found a woman in her 60s who was dead. Police said there are indicators that the death is suspicious.
Detectives responded and are still very early in their investigation and waiting for confirmation about the cause of her death, Fresno Police Lt. Leslie Williams said.
