Five people were injured Friday morning when a vehicle plowed through a popular bagel shop.

The Fresno Fire Department said the collision happened at 11 a.m. when a vehicle went into Uncle Harry’s Bagel shop at Shaw and Cedar avenues, right across from Fresno State.

Five people were injured, fire crews said.

At least 25 people were inside Uncle Harry’s.

Authorities said the driver accidentally pressed on the gas pedal instead of the brakes as she tried to park, authorities said.

The five injuries appear to be minor, authorities said.

Uncle Harry is expected to be closed for a few days.

Fresno Fire’s USAR team assisted in removing the vehicle and evaluated the building to make sure no collapse happens.
